QA Team Lead

Responsibilities:
o Lead a team of QA Testers
o Manage the QA cycle for the project.
o Implement QA Project Plan.
o Review of Product Functional Specifications
o Analysis of Functional Enhancements and Change Requests
o Design and Maintenance of Test Plans, test scripts and test processes
o Application Testing including: Life
o QA Testing Cycles: Integration, System, Regression and UAT Testing
o Testing Areas: Life and Pension Functionality, Client Documentation, Web Version, Quotations / Illustrations, Product Rules, Client Reports
o Bug Detection, Tracking and Resolution
o Prioritisation of Software issues
o Communication with development teams in the resolution of issues
o Generate Ad-hoc reports
o Produce Software Release Notes
o Produce User Manuals
o Provide client and peer-to-peer training
Skills Required
o 5+ years Team Lead experience, Life and Pensions background essential.
o Knowledge of Life and Pensions products essential.
o Excellent knowledge of Software Test methodologies.
o Excellent communication skills
o Meticulous attention to detail
o MS Word, Excel and MS Project essential
o SQL desirable
o Excellent leadership skills
