Technical Trainer - Permanent position

Role & Responsibilities:
Developing training programs including outline, text, handouts, and tests.
Delivering and evaluating suitable training programmes on an individual and group basis
Development of technical manuals for internal, third Party and bespoke applications
Focused on the needs to the training audience
Design, format and generate intelligible, accurate and timely reports which depict information and data.
Delivering Technical Eclipse Training, Software Development Training
Personal Characteristics
Strong communication skills
Excellent presentation skills
Initiative and the ability to collaborate across the levels of business to provide the most innovative training solutions
Ability to deal with a diverse range of tasks and meet tight deadlines
Resourceful problem solver, ability to bring new ideas to the role
While working in a team environment, ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload with minimum supervision
Qualifications & Experience
Extensive experience giving presentations and training sessions
Knowledge of training techniques and delivery methods
Technical Qualification
Working knowledge of visual basic, C#, SQL a distinct advantage.
Experience of the Life & Pensions industry not essential but advantageous
Development background / prior experience of training in development languages a distinct advantage.
