Paul O’Kane | Executive Chairman & Sales Director
As co-founder of Percana, Paul's vision and dedicated efforts have made Percana a reality. Paul is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company and the building of awareness of Percana and the company's product, outsourcing and consultancy services in the international marketplace.
Paul has vast experience in the Life & Pensions sector and has worked as a senior consultant for many of the largest Life Assurance and outsourcing companies in Ireland and the UK.
Paul is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin.
Eugene Larmon | CEO
Also a co-founder of Percana, Eugene brings his vast experience of management within the IT sector to the company. Originally involved in the development and implementation of ECLIPSE, Eugene now has responsibility for the company's operational activities including the delivery of outsourcing services to our international clients.
Eugene previously worked within the financial services sector both in London and Dublin, primarily in the Life & Pensions sector.
Eugene is a graduate of University College Dublin in Mathematics and English and has a post-graduate Diploma from Dublin City University in Information Technology.
John Moynihan | COO
One of Percana's original co-founders, John has vast experience of project management within the IT sector. Initially involved in the development and implementation of ECLIPSE, John now has responsibility for the delivery of all projects to our clients.
John spent 18 years in financial services in Dublin, in the Life & Pensions sector and the Banking sector. This includes a number of years with AccBank, ICCBank, Irish Life and Irish Progressive (IPSI) Dublin, a provider of outsourcing services.
John has a Diploma in Systems Analysis from Trinity College Dublin.
Paddy Keating | CTO
As a founding member of Percana, Paddy drives the technological decision making process within the company. Paddy's original role within the company was the overall technical design of the ECLIPSE product.
With wide-ranging experience in software development, systems architecture and outsourcing services, Paddy has worked as a senior consultant implementing client / server technologies, designing software infrastructures and implementing web technologies primarily within the financial services sector in Ireland.
Previously, Paddy had 7 years experience in technical Financial Services division in IBM, a further 4 years experience in the Financial Services E-Commerce Group in KPMG.
Paddy is a graduate of Waterford Institute of Technology in Applied Computing.
Donal Kelly | CFO
Donal was appointed as Finance Manager in November 2003 with responsibility for the delivery of accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, fund administration and unit pricing services to Percana’s outsourcing clients.
Prior to joining Percana in November 2003, Donal worked in Canada Life Assurance (Ireland) Limited for 15 years in a variety of roles. Donal has also worked in Price Waterhouse Coopers in Dublin.
In January 2005, Donal was appointed CFO of the Group where he is now responsible for all financial aspects of the company.
Donal is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Irish Taxation Institute. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin.
Aideen Ryan Deputy General Manager | TPA Operation
Aideen joined Percana in early 2003 and lead the Quality Assurance Team within the company managing releases to our outsourcing and licence sale clients as required.
In 2006, as part of Percana expansion, Aideen was promoted to a senior position managing the delivery of policy administration services to our outsourcing clients and is a key member of the Percana management team.
Prior to joining Percana, Aideen worked as a consultant where she gained huge experience in Life & Pensions, working with companies such as Friends First, Royal and Sun Alliance, AIG and Scottish Provident.
Aideen is a graduate of St Patrick’s College, Maynooth
Paddy Kallewaard | R&D Manager
Paddy joined Percana in 2001 as a senior technical architect, playing a lead role in the completion of a totally n-tier architecture for ECLIPSE.
Paddy is currently responsible for the R&D function within Percana having previously managed the delivery of all projects within the software development area from 2004-2006.
Prior to joining Percana, Paddy worked with KPMG as a Technical Team Leader on client / server and web applications for many infrastructural and web based projects for financial services institutions.
Paddy graduated from Dublin City University with a Masters Degree in Engineering and Design and a B. Eng in Electronic Engineering.
Michael Lawlor | Head of Business Solutions
Michael Lawlor was appointed Head of Business Solutions in December 2006.
Prior to joining Percana, Michael worked for Cap Gemini Ireland Limited in a variety of roles from 1998 onwards. During this period with Cap Gemini, Michael spent 18 months working with four of the UK's largest Life and Pensions providers. In addition Michael in the role of Programme Manager assisted Irish Insurers with new Product Launches to the market.
Michael worked in Hibernian, formerly Norwich Union Life and Pensions from 1989 to 1998. He initially held the role of Trainee Actuary, working primarily in the area of Product Development. In 1994 Michael moved to a Customer facing role and ultimately managed the Customer Services department servicing the Ordinary Business and Personal Pensions suite of business. Furthermore Michael was the Customer Services Manager during Hibernian’s demutualisation.
