Percana begin trials of Eclipse Version 3.0
Trials of version 3.0 of Percana’s flagship product Eclipse have begun. John Poole, Percana’s Research and Development director, said that the new version had many exciting new features, including XML support for 100% of system transactions and the introduction of Eclipse Load Balancing (ELB) software. “ELB allows us to dynamically configure clusters of servers which minimise down time and greatly enhance the scalability of Eclipse”, explained John.
Other features of the new version include many performance enhancements and an improved look and feel.
