Percana Wins Multi Million Euro 5 Year Outsourcing Contract with Arca Vita International

Percana International Managed Services has just won another substantial 5-year outsourcing contract with Arca Vita International, a subsidiary of the major Italian group Gruppo Assicurativo Arca www.arcassicura.com.  Percana will supply full third party administrative services, including policy, fund and financial administration, for Arca Vita International from its outsourcing centre in Dublin. This service will go-live after a policy conversion project by the Percana consultancy group on the 1st January 2004.

This is the second major outsourcing deal Percana has won this year. In Q1 2003 Percana signed a major investment and outsourcing deal with AZ Life Limited a subsidiary of Azimut Holding S.p.A. Since establishing Percana International Managed Services and moving to its new premises at Park West, Percana has consolidated its position as a significant new player in the Life & Pensions Outsourcing market.

As Percana Group's CEO, Paul O'Kane comments, “We are absolutely delighted with the Arca Vita deal which was won in a difficult and competitive climate. There are many underlying reasons why we can provide such a compelling outsourcing package. We have built our own technically advanced web based policy administration system 'Eclipse' which allows us provide our clients with a variety of options and significantly lower charges. Our ability to be flexible in every area is essential. The business and technical advantages that Eclipse can provide is also hugely significant.”

The Percana Group was set up in 1999 by a group of experts in information technology and management of life assurance products. Percana's product and service offering is based on the Eclipse Product Suite, which can be used to manage a wide range of Life and Pension products. The Percana Group also offers consultancy services, which include Eclipse implementation and policy conversion projects.
